Lamers in general And a few ideas, good or bad?

Must say, first, that maffia have the best public servers around.. nice Cool

BUT, wouldnt it be nice to add scripts that ban a person who reconnects for 5min? Another thing that would be nice is if you could only chose "5" when you enter a server, so that this "lets all go to the same team" stops.

The reason reconnect is so annoying, I think, is that it kinda makes PTB a bit useless. Also kinda annoying when people can jump to different teams 5 times before the WTJ script kicks in.

Just a thought

yes correct. Its irritating and it screws up PTB. But ppl who trys to connect too the server also gets ban for reconnecting. Thats why.

A few days ago I gave a player a temporary bann for 1 day for WTJ. We were playing dust with 5 Ts against 9 CTs and people kept trying to join CT. So finally I wrote a tsay (big white text): "Next one to WTJ will get a temp bann". One player did it again (his third time) so I sent him out to get a chance to think if it's fun to play when one team is cruching the other.

So in short, WTJ, reconnecting etc will eventually get a bann if it's too much.

Yes.. when there are admins around. But most of the times there arnt.

The WTJ is kinda useless too, since u can reconnect and then WTJ again. There are simple scripts that bans people for a short time if they do that, and thats a good way to stop thit really lame behaviour Cool

I agree on that you get a 24 hour ban on your 5th try to join winning team.

It would be complication on the VIP server though, if someone tries to join his teammates when the match script is not started.
